Smart Link

Shortened URLs with Tracking
The Smart Link feature is designed to simplify the process of inserting long URLs into your messages. The application automatically shortens the URL for you, providing a significant advantage - the ability to track and store mobile numbers when recipients interact with the smart link.

Proactive Monitoring
Upon logging into your user account, you'll be greeted with the user dashboard. This dashboard offers valuable insights into your SMS traffic, allowing you to proactively monitor traffic patterns, traffic summary, and delivery percentages. Stay informed and in control of your messaging strategy.

Composing Smart SMS:

Creating A2P Smart SMS Campaigns
Navigate to the Smart SMS option to access the compose Smart SMS page, where you can craft A2P (Application-to-Person) smart SMS campaigns. Let's delve into the key components:

Campaign Name
Give your campaign a friendly name. A default name is generated automatically, including the current date-time and the "Camp_" prefix.

Sender ID
Choose an approved Sender ID from the dropdown menu. If the Open Sender ID option is enabled, enter a dynamic Sender ID in the text box. This ID appears as the sender’s address on the recipient’s mobile.

Contacts
Select contacts from groups, upload local files, or manually enter contacts. Remember, mobile numbers should be comma-separated, starting with a country code (without '+'). Optionally, enable Auto Add Country Code under the My Profile tab for added convenience.

 Enter Message
Access the last 5 messages when clicking the "Enter Message" text box. A counter at the bottom indicates message length and count. 

Drafts And Templates
Choose content from saved drafts or templates. While draft content can be fully edited, template modifications are limited to placeholders.

Flash
Enable the Flash option to deliver messages directly to the handset screen for immediate attention.

Unicode
Automatically detect Unicode message contents and check the Unicode box.

Schedule
Save your message as a draft or schedule a campaign for future execution. The system defaults to the time zone configured in your profile.

Insert Smart Link
Embedding URLs in Your SMS
Click on the insert link icon to either enter a web link URL or upload a file. The Smart SMS engine then shortens the URL into a smart link, seamlessly embedded in the SMS.

 

Add Contacts in Groups
 Opt to automatically add the recipient’s mobile number to a selected group when they click on the smart link.

Send SMS Notification to Agent
 Enable this option to send an SMS alert to a selected agent when the recipient clicks on the smart link.

After inserting the link, the shortened URL is displayed in the message content. Simply click the send button to execute your Smart SMS campaign and witness the power of seamless, engaging communication.

Campaign Reports

Campaign View
 The Campaign View tab provides a consolidated list of Smart SMS campaigns executed by the user. Gain a comprehensive overview of your campaign history for effective campaign management.
 
List View
The List View tab offers a consolidated Delivery Receipt (DLR) report for Smart SMS campaigns. Monitor the detailed status of each campaign for enhanced insights into campaign performance.

 

Campaign Status
After executing a Smart SMS campaign, users can check the campaign status by navigating to the "Show Campaign Status" option. This displays the message queue, indicating the completion of the Smart SMS campaign. Users also have the option to stop the campaign by clicking on the Stop button.

Actions
Under the Actions tab, users can view Message Status-wise counts of executed campaigns. Gain valuable insights into campaign performance based on message status.

Download Report
Clicking on the Download Report tab allows users to download Smart SMS campaign reports in Excel format. Easily access and analyze campaign data for informed decision-making.

Advanced Campaign Reporting Analytics
 
Track Campaign
Smart SMS provides advanced campaign reporting analytics to help you track your campaigns effectively. When you click on the "Track Campaign" option, you'll find the following analyses:

Overview

Get a quick overview of the Smart SMS link's performance, showcasing the number of times it was opened and clicked.

Opened
The Opened count signifies the unique mobile numbers that clicked on the Smart SMS link. Clicking on the "Opened" option reveals a detailed view of hits received from designated recipients, including details such as mobile number, device, operator, and more.

Export
To obtain the Smart SMS click report in an Excel file, click on the Export option. Facilitate seamless data analysis and reporting for your campaigns.

Clicked
The Clicked count represents the total number of clicks received by a specific mobile number. Gain insights into recipient engagement and interaction with your Smart SMS campaigns.

 

Geolocation/Device
 This section provides analytics based on geolocation and device, revealing from which regions and devices recipients clicked the smart link. Understand the geographical and device-specific impact of your Smart SMS campaigns for targeted optimization.

Manage Agents and Auto Responders in Smart SMS

Manage Agents

The 'Manage Agents' feature in Smart SMS allows you to select agents to whom SMS alerts will be sent if recipients click on the smart link. Follow these steps to add agents:

Agent Details:
Enter the agent's name.
Provide the agent's email address.

Verification Process:
Click the save button.
The application sends an OTP to the entered email address.
Agents need to verify the OTP to complete the registration process.

Agent Listing:
Once verified, the agent is successfully listed in the 'Manage Agents' option.
This process ensures secure and verified agent registration, enhancing the reliability of SMS alerts.

Manage Auto-responders
The 'Manage Auto-responders' option in Smart SMS enables you to configure auto-replies forwarded to selected agents, facilitating accurate information delivery and providing better insights. Here's how to add a new auto-responder:
 
 Auto-Responder Setup:
 Add a title for the auto-responder.
 Enter the sender ID to be used when delivering the message to the agent.
 Craft the message you want to send to the selected agent.
